To strengthen our team at the Dietlikon location, we are looking for a committed and technically skilled individual as Pre-Sales IT.
As Pre-Sales IT, you are a central interface between customers, sales, and technical teams. You analyse requirements, develop suitable solution approaches, and translate these into clear, actionable offers. You accompany the entire offer process and contribute significantly to realising technically convincing and economically viable solutions.
Your tasks
Customer Consulting & Solution Design
- Analysis of customer requirements and development of suitable ICT solutions
- Technical advice to customers and support of sales in the presales cycle
- Participation in customer meetings, workshops, and presentations
- Positioning as a competent contact person and trusted advisor
Offer Preparation and Calculation
- Creation of technical offers and solution concepts
- Calculation of projects, services, and managed services
- Definition of scope of services, assumptions, and delimitations
- Ensuring traceability and quality of offers
Coordination & Interface Management
- Coordination with engineering, project management, and service management
- Involvement of manufacturers and partners as needed
- Ensuring that solutions are technically feasible and deliverable
Standards & Further Development
- Orientation to existing services and standards
- Development of scalable and economical solution approaches
- Participation in the further development of the service and solution portfolio
- Feedback of market and customer requirements to internal stakeholders
Your profile
- Completed training in computer science, business informatics, or comparable qualification
- Several years of experience in the IT environment, ideally in pre-sales, solution engineering, or system engineering
- Broad technical understanding (e.g. workplace, server/storage, network, security, cloud or managed services)
- Ability to analyse customer requirements in a structured manner and translate them into solutions
- Experience in creating technical offers, service descriptions, and calculations
- Confident understanding of service catalogs, standard services, and operating models
- Ability to define realistic efforts, deadlines, and assumptions
- Strong communication skills with customers, technical teams, and management
- Ability to critically question requirements and clearly reject unfeasible requests
- Fluent German skills, English advantageous
