Portrait of the School/Institution
Welcome to Aarwangen!
The Aarwangen school is located in Oberaargau, in the Langenthal agglomeration. Around 540 children are taught in 27 mixed-age classes. As an inclusive school, we value individual support, sustainable relationships, and good collaboration.
A committed school management team, motivated class teams, and a well-established special education team shape our daily school life. On the Sonnhalde campus, there are four school buildings, two kindergartens, the day school, sports facilities, and a swimming pool with a teaching pool. Three more kindergartens are located in the village.

Tasks
You will take on the integrative support in four classes: two kindergarten classes, one 1st/2nd grade class, and one 3rd/4th grade class. Together with the class teams, you plan and design the support and implement it according to the needs of the children in the class group, small groups, or individual settings.
In addition to regular IF teaching, you also accompany and support pupils with increased special educational needs. You will work closely with the responsible teachers, specialist offices, and other stakeholders.
You contribute your special education expertise, recognise strengths and resources, and support the children on their individual learning and development path.
The workload is flexibly adjustable between 8 and 28 lessons. Division among several persons is possible. An increase in workload is also possible by arrangement.
