Job Description
We are seeking support in the form of a versatile position for the practical application and maintenance of our products.
As a formwork instructor, you will familiarise our customers with the handling of our products. You support the construction site personnel by explaining tips and tricks in their application.
Furthermore, you act as assembly manager on selected construction sites. You either supervise a Doka internal assembly team or personnel provided by the construction site to ensure the correct and timely assembly of our solutions. These are mainly projects in the bridge, tunnel and high-rise sectors.
The service technician area includes the inspection of lifting gear, load handling equipment and our fall protection system "FreeFalcon". In the long term, the inspection of hydraulic products is also planned. The inspections take place either on construction sites, at our customers’ depots or on our premises.
You will be responsible for the Bern-Romandie region and our customers located there. French and German language skills are mandatory for this position (at least C1 in both languages). Italian is an advantage.
Your tasks:
as formwork instructor / assembly manager 50%:
- Contact person for our customers on the construction site
- Instruction in our formwork systems on construction sites (ceilings, walls, climbing formwork, scaffolding, etc.)
- Project-related support and advice on product questions
- Support in the optimal application of our products (tips and tricks)
- Assembly management on selected projects, especially in the area of bridge falsework, tunnel construction and climbing formwork.
as service technician 50%:
- Repair and maintenance of lifting gear, load handling equipment as well as electro-/hydraulic transfer devices and equipment for work safety (FreeFalcon)
- Independent planning and organisation of the repair service for the Bern-Romandie region
- Procurement of spare parts as required
- Cleaning, repair, maintenance and inspection of our rental equipment fleet
Qualifications
- Technical and manual training (concrete worker, formworker, bricklayer, carpenter, construction technician, foreman, or similar)
- Several years of professional experience in building construction and civil engineering or in the depot of construction companies
- Ideally, initial professional experience in handling engines, hydraulics and electrics in industrial trucks, construction or agricultural machinery
- Willingness to travel within Switzerland
- Very good technical understanding and good communication skills
- Strong customer and service orientation and organisational skills
- Independent working style and high team orientation
- Very good French and German skills, Italian an advantage
