Supply Chain Manager 80 – 100 % (m/f/d)

The Business Unit Operations produces parts for all Hamilton companies, from injection-moulded parts to pipette tips for liquid handling, to metal and plastic components. Our goal is to produce as many parts in-house as possible. This keeps us agile, independent, and efficient.
What you can achieve:
Reliable and cost-optimised inventory planning for the product group Commercial Goods
Order processing with the ERP system for new and existing items
Checking order confirmations
Securing delivery dates / delivery date reminders
Handling error messages
Processing and implementing eForms (change notifications, item integrations)
Recording and monitoring quantity contracts
Maintaining item master data in the ERP
Obtaining and evaluating offers in consultation with strategic purchasing
Participation in optimisation projects in procurement
Participation in supplier evaluation
Checking and approving supplier invoices
Adhering to processes, governance, and compliance
What you bring with you:
Completed commercial basic training or technical training with commercial further education
Further training as a purchasing specialist or in supply chain management
Experience as an operational purchaser in an industrial environment
Reliable personality with entrepreneurial thinking
Independent, structured, and conscientious working style
Initiative, negotiation skills, and assertiveness
Open, communicative, and honest person
Team player
Very good ERP and Office skills
Fluent in German and English, spoken and written, at least level B2
