The apprenticeship at a glance

Duration of training

The apprenticeship to become a Metalworker EFZ lasts four years.

Vocational school

You attend vocational school in Visp one day per week.

Professional knowledge

The following subject areas are taught at vocational school

• Specialist knowledge

• Technical mathematics / Physics
• Materials science / Manufacturing technology
• Technical drawing

Vocational baccalaureate

With very good school performance, the vocational baccalaureate school can be attended during basic training.
