About the job
Commercial Employee - Your Insight into the Tax Office! 50 - 100%Welcome to the fascinating world of taxes! The cantonal tax office, together with the municipal tax offices, collects taxes for the federal government, the canton, and the municipalities. We support private individuals and companies throughout the entire tax collection process. Around 800 qualified employees are committed to this at the location in Zurich Altstetten.
For our assessment team, we are seeking temporary support with a workload of 50% or 100%. The assignment lasts from mid-September 2026 to the end of February 2027.
Your tasks
- Reviewing tax returns and annual accounts of legal entities
- Clarifications related to the establishment and liquidation of legal entities
- Determining tax factors in simple cases
- Written and telephone contact with taxpayers, authorities, and internal departments
Your profile
- Completed commercial training or ongoing studies in law or business administration
- Entry-level or some professional experience
- Flair for numbers and basic accounting knowledge are advantageous
- Careful, reliable working style and very good German language skills
- Motivation to learn and confident use of IT applications
- Willingness to work on-site – no home office option
