To complete its team, the Institute of Psychology of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences is seeking a 100% graduate assistant in the fields of psychology and medical communication/psycho-oncology/health psychology
Job-related information
Start date: 1 September 2026
Contract duration: 1 year, renewable 2 x 2 years, maximum 5 years
Activity rate: 100%
Workplace: Lausanne-Dorigny (Géopolis)
Gross annual salary: CHF 67,568.- (at 100%), increasing each year according to the scale
Your activities
Task description:
- 50% of the activity rate will be dedicated to personal research: personal research project (completion of a doctoral thesis) and scientific dissemination (articles, presentations at conferences)
- 50% of the activity rate will be dedicated to support for teaching and shared research work: participation in supervising students' dissertations, correcting the teacher's exams, supporting courses (organisation, preparation and co-hosting of certain sessions)

Your profile
We wish to recruit, to complete our team, a person with the following profile:
You have:
- A Master’s degree in Psychology, with a focus on psychology or medical communication/health psychology/psycho-oncology
- An interest in oncology
- Excellent command of French and English, written and spoken
- A taste for, and ability to, write scientific articles
- A desire to learn and cooperate
- Already some competence in statistical analyses (or at least a strong motivation to learn)
You are:
- Adaptable, flexible, and dynamic
- Organised, you manage your work autonomously while enjoying working in a team
