About the job
In our metal hall, you will ensure together with your team that goods receipt runs smoothly. You take responsibility for four employees, actively participate in day-to-day operations, and ensure an efficient and safe operational process with your organisational talent and expertise.
Your tasks:
- Technical and personnel leadership of a team of four employees as well as active participation in the operational daily business of the metal hall
- Planning and coordination of daily workflows including personnel deployment, holiday and absence planning
- Ensuring efficient goods receipt through correct material acceptance, valuation, sorting, inventory management and quality control
- Promotion and development of employees as well as ensuring compliance with quality, safety and environmental regulations
- Close cooperation with purchasing, sales, production and logistics as well as continuous optimisation of processes and workflows
Your profile:
- Completed technical, craft or comparable basic training with several years of professional experience, ideally in the recycling, metal or waste disposal industry
- Leadership experience or the motivation to take the next step into a leadership role
- Organisational skills, structured working method as well as strong communication and assertiveness skills
- Good PC user skills and a valid SUVA-recognised forklift licence
- Good German language skills in spoken and written form as well as a responsible, resilient and flexible personality
