Head of Central Services Department 80%, Member of the Executive Board (m/f/d)
Your workplace is in the city of Bern, home office possible. You will take over the professional, organizational, and personnel management of the Central Services Department. This currently includes the areas of finance, controlling, and internal ICT with a total of seven employees.
Your tasks
- You are responsible for the professional, organizational, and personnel leadership of this department
- You prepare and consolidate the annual budgets and the rolling multi-year planning and represent these to the strategic bodies
- You prepare the interim and annual financial statements according to OR, Swiss GAAP FER, and the ZEWO guidelines and report to the strategic bodies
- You are responsible for financial controlling, including the preparation and provision of financial key figures and reports for strategic management and control processes
- You support the executive management in the service contracts with the cantons and the SZBLIND subcontract for the allocation of financial aid from the BSV
- You maintain contacts with the financial responsible persons of the cantons as well as with the SZBLIND
- You monitor the fixed assets and the reporting on the securities investments
- You are responsible for financial, investment, and liquidity planning
- You coordinate and monitor topics and projects of the department and work constructively with the other departments
- You further develop a secure and efficient ICT infrastructure in collaboration with the ICT manager
- You further develop internal controlling and business management
Your profile
- You have several years of leadership experience in the field of accounting and controlling, ideally in a similar position
- You have a higher commercial basic education with further training in finance (business administration, FH, MAS, CAS)
- You are an entrepreneurial thinker and a flexible personality, combined with a healthy assertiveness and high social competence
- You are characterized by solution-oriented action, practice a cooperative leadership style, and communicate appropriately at all levels
- You value independence and the associated responsibility and convince with high commitment
- As a member of the executive board, you can imagine a long-term commitment in a complex environment, and performance orientation and non-profit are compatible for you
- You have very good German or French language skills with very good knowledge of the other language
- A good understanding of the needs of blind and visually impaired people is a matter of course for you
