About the job

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU FOR

• Lead, promote personnel and secure the necessary resources
• Inform supervisors and employees factually and on time
• Monitor logistics key figures as well as adhere to cost centre and investment budgets
• Continuously review and optimise processes (e.g. through digitalisation)
• Comply with occupational safety, environmental and legal requirements for the entire shipping department
• Process export, import and domestic transport orders on time and in compliance with the law
• Ensure correct administrative procedures in goods receipt and dispatch in Altdorf
• Secure production logistics according to demand and optimise warehouse management (internal/external)
• Take responsibility for the security of stocks and the accounting warehouse value
• Conduct analyses, lead special logistics projects and be responsible for general packaging issues

WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING

• Completed vocational training in logistics, freight forwarding or foreign trade
• Advanced professional examination or commercial further training in logistics management (e.g. logistics manager, freight forwarding manager)
• Proven experience in personnel and technical leadership of teams
• Sound knowledge in controlling, monitoring key figures and budget planning
• Experience with optimisation and digitalisation of warehouse and freight forwarding processes
• Fluent German

WHAT WE OFFER YOU

• 40-hour week (plus 1 hour catch-up time for bridge days)
• 5 - 6 weeks holiday depending on age
• 100% continued payment of salary in case of illness up to max. 730 days
