About the job

We offer elderly people a safe and comfortable home – right in the heart of Ittigen. Our residence comprises 121 apartments as well as a care unit with 26 single rooms. At the centre of our work are appreciation, humanity, and respectful interaction. The residence also includes the public à la carte restaurant "Arcadia" with a terrace and a total of 120 seats. In the residents' restaurant "Ittigen Saal" as well as in a separate residents' restaurant of the care unit, lunch and dinner with a choice of options are served daily to around 150 residents. The residence also has seminar and banquet facilities for up to 120 people.

To strengthen our friendly service team, we are looking immediately or by arrangement for a committed and innovative restaurant service specialist 60 - 80%.

Your tasks

• Qualified service in the à la carte restaurant Arcadia and in the residents' restaurant "Ittigen Saal"
• Support at banquets, events and special occasions
• Responsibility for your own service station and ensuring a smooth process
• Compliance with hygiene and quality standards
• Responsibility for guest care
• Contributing to the further development of our service processes

• Completed training as a service specialist
• Experience and professionalism in upscale gastronomy
• High quality awareness and great commitment
• Efficient working style, teamwork and flexibility
• Very good manners and a well-groomed appearance
• Caring for our guests with warmth and empathy, from reception to farewell
• Experience in assisted living
• Flexibility for short-term assignments and variable working hours
