Surveyor / Geomatician - Construction and 3D Technologies (M/F) - PERMANENT POSITION

Your mission:

Would you like to put your geomatics skills to work on concrete construction projects, while working with modern technologies?

For a well-established and recognised construction company in Valais, we are looking for a Surveyor / Geomatician to strengthen their technical team.

A particularly interesting opportunity for someone who appreciates variety: fieldwork, technical office, drone, 3D modelling and site support.

Whether you have initial experience in the field or a well-established career, the level of autonomy and responsibility can be adapted to your expertise.

Your main responsibilities will be:
- Preparing and creating digital terrain models (DTM 3D) for GPS guidance of construction machinery
- Conducting drone surveys and processing data: DTM, orthophotos and point clouds
- Carrying out GNSS and total station staking out
- Performing necessary surveys and checks on various construction sites
- Calculating volumes and quantities based on plans or surveys
- Determining values required for measurements: areas, linear metres and quantities
- Checking and processing plans and projects provided by engineering offices
- Managing the company’s various measurement solutions and equipment
- Providing technical support to teams regarding measurements and site-related needs

Your profile:

- Certified Geomatician, Surveyor, Survey Technician, Topographer or equivalent technical training
- Experience in geomatics, topography, civil engineering, construction or an engineering office
- Good knowledge of measurement tools such as GNSS and total station
- Knowledge of drone surveys, DTM and 3D modelling, or strong motivation to develop these skills
- Good reading and understanding of technical plans
- Strong interest in new technologies applied to construction
- Comfortable with both IT tools and a construction site environment
- Precise, autonomous, reliable and pragmatic personality
- Good team spirit and ease in collaborating with various technical contacts
