FBT Fahrzeug- und Maschinenbau AG is a medium-sized company in the vehicle and mechanical engineering sector based in Thörigen. We are a team of around 40 employees specialising in customised solutions in the areas of ramp systems for bus and rail transport and contract work.

To complement our team in the metalworking department, we are looking for immediate or agreed start:

Metalworking Employee (m/f/d | 100%)

Your profile:

• Training as a plant and apparatus builder, construction locksmith or similar professions
• Technical understanding
• Welding certificate according to EN287-1 135P BW/135 P FW
• Experience in MIG/MAG welding processes for aluminium and steel
• Experience in TIG welding process for aluminium and steel (stainless) available
• Forklift licence available (pallet truck)
• Communication skills in German
• Teamwork skills
• Good comprehension and resilience

Your area of responsibility:

• Assembling and welding demanding assemblies according to drawings in single production or small series
• General locksmith work
• Plastering
• Straightening
• Cutting (circular saw)
• Managing material racks
