These tasks will inspire you

• Active support and further development of customer relationships in the European market
• Acquisition and maintenance of suppliers and business partners in Switzerland and Europe
• Procurement and sale of assigned organic raw materials as well as marketing of the Swiss organic harvest from the MAXI system
• Market observation, analysis of supply and demand, and identification of new market opportunities
• Responsibility for sales, margin, and results (P&L) within the assigned portfolio
• Conducting sales and price negotiations
• Volume, sales, and marketing planning
• Recording and management of purchase and sales contracts as well as cooperation with processing
• Participation in projects and working groups related to the organic market

We look forward to this profile

• Education and/or relevant further training in agriculture, food, or trade environment
• Several years of experience in trading, purchasing, sales, or marketing of agricultural raw materials
• Sound knowledge of organic farming and its market structures
• Existing and reliable network with producers, industry organisations, or processors
• Strong negotiation skills as well as entrepreneurial thinking and acting
• Independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style
• Very good German skills as well as good French and English skills
• Experience in contract trading and knowledge of Incoterms and trade customs
