What excites you
- Together with your team, you are responsible for the stable, secure and high-performance operation of our Oracle databases on Exadata
- Additionally, you take responsibility for the engineering and further expansion of the automation of this platform with Ansible
- Your participation is also welcome in the setup and operation of the Postgres environment
- You continuously develop the database environment and contribute your ideas on architecture and operational matters
What you bring
- You have experience in automation with tools such as Ansible, Terraform
- You have experience in operating Oracle databases, preferably on Exadata, and knowledge of operating Postgres and SQL Server databases
- You possess a strong understanding of IT security concepts with a focus on databases and knowledge of best practices in this area
- Ideally, you also have experience in setting up/operating database environments in the Azure cloud
- You have good German and, if possible, English skills and are willing to work evenings, weekends and be on call
