Your Responsibilities
Our HR Payroll team is responsible for the HCM master data and organisational maintenance as well as the comprehensive handling of payroll administration for METTLER TOLEDO companies in Switzerland. We are looking for a motivated person to support several internal clients as a Payroll Specialist 100% (all genders) for our open-minded team.
In this role, you will undertake the following tasks:
- Management of all employee master data and maintenance of organisational management in LOGA in collaboration with our Shared Service Center in Europe and integration of data into Workday.
- Independent payroll processing for various payroll groups (approx. 700 employees) considering the new Workday processes and systems.
- Handling and processing social insurance and pension fund matters including year-end accounting (UVG, KTG, AHV, withholding tax, etc.) and issuing annual salary certificates.
- Processing of sickness and accident daily allowances, maternity insurance, and EO accounting.
- Preparation of various monthly reports (e.g. provisions) and reconciliation work with the financial accounting department as well as participation in company-wide projects complete the job profile.
We require the following for this position:
- You have a commercial basic education with specialised further training in human resources or social insurance (social insurance specialist or an equivalent higher qualification in payroll).
- You bring several years of professional experience in payroll administration in an industrial or service company.
- You have proficient knowledge of a personnel information system (SAP, Abacus, Workday or LOGA) and MS Office (especially Excel) and possess a strong IT affinity.
- You are a responsible and discreet individual with an independent, precise, and team-oriented manner.
- You are flexible, service-oriented, and resilient, with a strong flair for numbers, good process understanding, and clear prioritisation skills.
- You are fluent in German and communicate very well in English.
