To strengthen our dynamic team at our headquarters in Zurich, we are looking for a motivated and responsible individual to start immediately or by arrangement.
Debt Collection Specialist (60% - 80%)
As a networked thinker and independently acting professional, you will take on a central role in our debt collection team and help to advance our processes efficiently and solution-oriented.
Your tasks
- Independent initiation and management of debt enforcement procedures including payment orders, legal objections and further debt collection steps
- Active monitoring and follow-up of overdue claims as well as consistent initiation of defined escalation steps
- Close collaboration with Accounting, Sales and Operations to clarify and resolve outstanding claims
- Written and telephone communication with debtors as well as negotiation of repayment agreements
- Cooperation with external partners such as debt collection agencies, lawyers or authorities
- Preparation and analysis of regular debt collection reports and relevant KPIs (e.g. outstanding claims, incoming payments and critical cases)
- Conducting and recording monthly debt collection meetings
- Active participation in the optimisation of internal debt collection processes
Your profile
- Completed commercial training or comparable qualification
- Professional experience in debt collection or receivables management
- Knowledge of Swiss debt enforcement and bankruptcy law (SchKG)
- Confident and professional demeanour even in difficult conversation and conflict situations
- Strong communication skills, assertiveness and sense of responsibility
- Structured, analytical and solution-oriented working style
- Fluent German skills as well as very good English skills; French or Italian skills are a plus
