Engineer in Automation and Control Technology (m/f/d)

Role:
In this exciting role, you actively shape the development and commissioning of modern automation solutions. You are the central point of contact for technical challenges in the field of electrical engineering and contribute your expertise in PLC programming and drive technology to international projects.
Responsibilities:
You develop and implement control and automation systems for new plants as well as modernisations worldwide
You define technical specifications for electrical components and accompany acceptance tests at suppliers
You work out technical solutions for conversions and modifications and support already in the presales phase
You analyse and process service requests for electrical faults - by phone, remote access or on site
You programme and optimise PLC systems, visualisations (HMI) and drive solutions
You work closely with customers and interdisciplinary teams and maintain a professional exchange
Qualifications:
You have a completed degree (FH or equivalent) in electrical engineering, automation technology or systems engineering
Ideally, you bring at least 5 years of professional experience in industrial automation
You have sound knowledge in PLC programming, preferably with Siemens Simatic S7 or Beckhoff
You are familiar with drive systems and their integration into machines and plants
You hold a category B driving licence
You communicate confidently in German and English, both spoken and written
