To strengthen our Lausanne team, we are looking, immediately or by agreement, for a CIVIL ENGINEER SPECIALIZING IN WOOD
Mission:
- handling timber construction projects, from study to completion
- developing load-bearing structure concepts and construction details for economical and sustainable solutions
- close collaboration with planning architects, engineers, and construction companies
- preparation of tender documents and site supervision
- search for innovative wood and mixed solutions
Desired profile:
- holder of an ETH or HES diploma with a specialization in Wood
- in-depth knowledge of the Wood material and its application in civil engineering
- good command of various software in the field of load-bearing structure analysis
- proficiency in French, both spoken and written
- interest and enjoyment in working interdisciplinarily on projects and in teams
- knowledge of SIA standards and Eurocodes
- dynamic, methodical, and rigorous personality, able to work independently as well as in a team
