Respectful and committed with head, heart and hand – that is what sumia stands for. In our retirement home in Sumiswald, we offer 130 residents a personal and safe home in the rural Emmental. Around 230 employees and 40 volunteers dedicate themselves daily with passion to the well-being of our residents.

• Co-responsibility for the care and support of our residents with dementia
• Participation in specialist groups such as Palliative Care, Dementia, Kinaesthetics
• Involvement in work with relatives
• Taking on daily responsibility

• Completed nursing training HF or equivalent qualification
• Independent, reliable and professional way of working
• You are characterised by empathy and social competence
• Professional support of team members
• Creative, mindful approach to the residents
