The Zurich Brickworks offer ceramic solutions for the entire building envelope. For over 150 years, we have made living more natural and building easier with our clay building materials. From a simple raw material, we develop sophisticated systems for roofs, walls and façades. Since 2020, we have been part of the swisspor Group.
To strengthen our operations maintenance at our site in Istighofen (Thurgau), we are looking for an operations electrician.
Your Tasks
- Electrical maintenance work on our production facilities
- Analysing and resolving faults (including PLC)
- Supporting machine operators with minor faults
- Assisting in the planning and implementation of retrofits on machines and infrastructure
- Smaller installation projects according to NIN/NIV
- Updating electrical schematics
- Willingness to provide periodic on-call services
Your Profile
- Training as an electrician or automation technician in an industrial company
- Several years of experience as an operations electrician in a manufacturing company
- Certification NIN / NIV as well as PLC knowledge (Siemens S5 / S7) are desirable
- Enjoyment in imparting knowledge to employees
- Independent, motivated and team-capable "doer personality"
- Good German skills in spoken and written form, any additional foreign language is an advantage
- Driving licence category B (for on-call duties)
- Residence max. 30 minutes from the workplace (on-call) or willingness to relocate
