The Geneva Foundation for Sociocultural Animation is a partnership institution, funded by the Canton and the municipalities, whose mission is to promote and maintain social cohesion in the canton of Geneva, that is to ensure the quality of the relationship between individuals and society. Through socio-educational, sociocultural and associative field actions carried out by the centres and outreach teams, the foundation meets the population's needs in terms of meeting, exchange, solidarity, citizenship, quality of life, with a general aim of preventing social exclusion.

Job opening within FASe for a socio-educational assistant apprentice (ASE) generalist for the start of August 2026 at the Eclipse youth centre.

Job Description

During your apprenticeship, you assist and support the sociocultural animation teams in their daily activities with the public received.

You join one of our teams (Neighbourhood House or TSHM team) and your field trainer is responsible for your integration and training throughout your course. To contribute to your success, your supervision is provided by qualified trainers.

During your training, two internships are organised within partner institutions to guarantee you a complete training, meeting the requirements of a generalist ASE Federal Vocational Certificate (CFC).

The course is a three-year CFC and it is possible to undertake an integrated professional baccalaureate during the training (as well as a two-year CFC under certain conditions).

Qualifications

You have completed your compulsory schooling and are looking for an apprenticeship in the field of sociocultural animation.

Friendly, you enjoy human contact as well as teamwork and communicate easily with your interlocutors.

You are ready to commit to a professional training alternating company work, practical and theoretical courses at school.
