About the job

• Support the development team in all phases of the design and development process, from concept development to final production
• Software development in research projects and prototypes with various game engines such as Unity, Unreal and Godot
• REST interface programming and similar web technologies
• Database integration for game engines
• Backend development for immersive applications
• Contribution to research
• Teaching assistance
• Application of optimisation strategies to your work and consideration of system limitations
• Anticipate needs and proactively solve problems as soon as they arise

• At least 3 years of experience with Unity and/or the Unreal Engine
• Experience with at least one programming language, e.g. C++, C#, Java
• Knowledge of other 3D computer graphics programmes such as Maya, Blender, Max, etc.
• Experience with web technologies and databases
• Experience in SCRUM methodology
• Ability to multitask, solve problems quickly and efficiently, and work independently
• Good communication and organisational skills
• Experience with Houdini
• Fluent English skills, German advantageous
