Role:

Our Rocken partner is looking for an experienced Senior Financial Accountant (m/f/d) who works with long-standing national and international clients from various industries. In this position, you take responsibility, develop solutions in the team and bring your expertise into financial accounting. Responsibilities:
As a senior financial accountant, you take on diverse tasks that require your expertise and willingness to take responsibility:
- Developing solutions in the team and taking responsibility for complex financial matters
- Preparing, interpreting and analysing monthly and annual financial statements
- Advising clients on VAT and tax matters with clear and understandable explanations
- Actively participating in shaping company processes through project work
- Continuously improving accounting processes and implementing efficient methods
- Working closely with internal stakeholders to ensure financial integrity
- Building and maintaining long-term client relationships through professional support and advice
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you bring the following qualifications:
- Several years of professional experience in financial accounting, ideally in a senior position
- Completed training in accounting or comparable qualifications
- In-depth knowledge in preparing and analysing financial statements
- Confident handling of common accounting software and MS Office, especially Excel
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills as well as a structured working style
- Very good German language skills in spoken and written form; additional language skills are an advantage
