About the job
We offer the opportunity to be involved in a decisive phase in building supervision over nature- and climate-related financial risks in the financial market.
- Evaluation and maintenance of data from financial institutions on nature-related financial risks, including benchmark analyses and reporting
- Projects to analyze the exposure of the Swiss financial center to climate and natural risks
- Conducting supervisory discussions and on-site inspections at banks and insurance companies
- Technical leadership on climate- and nature-risk-related scenario analyses and stress tests
- FINMA representation in exchanges with national and international authorities and stakeholders in the field of Sustainable Finance
- University or university of applied sciences degree, e.g. in economics, mathematics or natural sciences, or a comparable education
- Affinity and know-how in data analysis (Excel); additional R and Python skills are an advantage
- Practical knowledge in the area of nature/environmental or climate risks; professional experience in risk management at banks is an advantage
- Strong skills in project and stakeholder management, initiative and independent work, organizational talent and teamwork skills
- Very good ability to understand complex contexts and communicate appropriately in writing and orally
- German or French skills (C2) as well as good knowledge of the other language (B2) and very good English skills (C1)
