To complement our pathology team in Allschwil, we are looking for a self-reliant, reliable, and quality-conscious person as a Cytology Assistant 60 - 100% immediately or by agreement.

• In our state-of-the-art cytology laboratory, you will screen specimens from gynecological preventive cytology and independently report negative findings (Thin Layer and conventional cytology; computer-assisted screening with the ThinPrep system).
• If interested, you will also screen specimens from extragenital cytology after training.
• You will record orders and findings in the laboratory information system.
• Your diverse tasks also include processing sample material.
• Completed training as a Dipl. Cytology Assistant, HFP Expert in Cytodiagnostics, or Dipl. Biomedical Analyst HF
• Experience in extragenital and gynecological cytology is an advantage
• Good knowledge of German
• Good knowledge of MS Office (including Outlook, Word, and Excel)
