Tasks

• You are responsible for ensuring qualified nursing services according to contemporary nursing and treatment approaches and efficiently delegating tasks to staff with various levels of competence.
• You undertake nursing and medical-technical tasks, especially in demanding care situations.
• You support residents and their relatives during phases of illness and challenging moments.
• You accompany and promote apprentices and students from various educational fields in health and social care on their path to developing their competencies.
• You play a key role in shaping the department’s objectives to ensure and promote quality and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Profile

• Empathetic personality with a strong focus on people
• Enthusiasm for independent work combined with team spirit and commitment
• Completed training as a nursing specialist (HF/FH/DNII with SRK recognition for diplomas from abroad)
• Excellent German language skills, both spoken and written, as well as outstanding communication abilities
• Strong sense of responsibility, ability to think holistically, and high resilience

Salaries for nursing and therapeutic professions have been increased to strengthen these professional groups. The annual salary for this position ranges from CHF 85,228 to CHF 113,882 (100%) depending on experience.

The Witikon and Riesbach Health Centres are jointly managed and located in the heart of Zurich-Witikon and Zurich-Riesbach in districts 7 and 8. The Witikon Health Centre for the Elderly combines various care and support services under one roof. The Riesbach Health Centre for the Elderly is entirely focused on the treatment, care, and nursing of people with dementia. The secured facility offers peace, security, and safety. Both health centres are characterised by many years of experience in geriatric medicine. Here you will work together with 400 colleagues.
