Production Employee - Key Operator (m/f/d)

The production employee works at the filling line and, as a Key Operator during the shift, ensures that the production and maintenance plan is implemented in compliance with the highest quality standards and optimal costs. In close cooperation with the Lead Operator, the position contributes to the continuous optimisation of production processes, ensuring smooth plant operation, and the further development of the team.
ABOUT YOUR NEW JOB:
- Preparation and follow-up of the filling line for a smooth production process according to the weekly filling schedule
- Independent monitoring, operation and optimisation of all machines as well as individual plant components
- Monitoring the entire production process and coordinating the activities of the operators during the shift
- Troubleshooting machine malfunctions and supporting maintenance work
- Ensuring compliance with all quality guidelines through regular checks and comprehensive documentation
- Responsibility for compliance with hygiene regulations including CIP and COP cleaning processes
- Operational leadership of the shift in representation and in coordination with the Lead Operator as well as conducting necessary briefings
- Preparation and timely, accurate reporting on performance, tasks and standards within own area of responsibility
- Responsibility for implementing the quality management system in own work area
- Development of short- and long-term optimisation and troubleshooting measures together with the Lead Operator and monitoring sustainable implementation
- Assessment of the qualification needs of the operators and support of supervisors in their training and further development
ARE THESE YOUR SECRET INGREDIENTS:
- You have completed a recognised vocational training (EFZ)
- You have at least 3 years of professional experience in a production environment
- You have basic technical knowledge in mechanics and electrical engineering
- You have basic knowledge of the beverage filling process as well as the food industry and applicable hygiene regulations
- You work independently, responsibly and keep an overview even in hectic situations
- You are team-oriented and gladly take responsibility within your shift
- You have basic MS Office and SAP knowledge
- You speak fluent German
