Tasks

About the job
For the Centre for Forensic Psychiatry inpatient unit (ZFPS), we are looking for you to start immediately or by arrangement as
Tasks
- You will work on a high-security ward and switch between small group settings and individual settings
- You will treat and care for patients from the penal system for crisis intervention and measures
- You are part of the interdisciplinary treatment team and contribute to treatment planning, daily structuring, and the shaping of the living environment
- You work both rehabilitatively and preventively to avoid future offences
- You maintain contact with relatives and authorities
- You ensure the well-being of our patients in a three-shift system
- You share responsibility for the training of apprentices within the framework of the training mandate
Profile
- You have completed training as a Dipl. Registered Nurse HF/FH and preferably have professional experience in psychiatry
- For foreign diplomas, SRK recognition is mandatory
- Your attitude towards offenders is appreciative and risk-aware
- You enjoy working in an interdisciplinary team
- You possess exceptionally high social skills
- You have strong communication skills
- You are characterised by very high self-reflection and ability to accept criticism
