Job description
As part of strengthening our IT team in Geneva, we are looking for a Senior ActiveMQ Architect (M/F/X).
🔥 Your responsibilities:
Design and evolve messaging architectures based on Apache ActiveMQ
Define messaging standards and best practices
Implement robust, scalable, and highly available architectures
Optimize performance, reliability, and resilience of message flows
Implement and manage queues, topics, virtual topics, and redelivery policies
Ensure security of exchanges (authentication, authorizations, encryption)
Diagnose and resolve complex incidents in production
Participate in architecture choices and technical roadmap
Support development and operations teams
Write technical documentation and architecture files
Play a role as technical referent and level 3 support
🎗 Your profile:
- You have more than 10 years of experience in software or middleware architecture, with proven expertise in Apache ActiveMQ.
You master Java, JMS standards, and event-driven distributed architectures.
You have solid experience in high availability and high load environments.
You possess good knowledge of system security, application flows, and Linux environments.
Experience with Spring / Spring Boot as well as other messaging solutions (Kafka, RabbitMQ, MQ) is appreciated.
You are autonomous, rigorous, have good interpersonal skills, and are able to solve complex technical problems.
