About the job
Open child and youth work (OKJA) creates activating leisure and meeting spaces. As we want to complete our team again, we are looking for you! You will become part of the creative OKJA team. Together you will design spaces and offers where primary school children can develop, experiment, and actively participate.
Your tasks
- Meeting work and mobile work: You are co-responsible for leading and organising the weekly children's meetings and are directly present where the children spend their leisure time.
- Relationship work and integration: You promote the active participation and integration of children into the community, sensitively address their everyday issues, and strengthen their social and personal skills.
- Holidays and events: Together with your team colleague, you organise varied programmes during the sports, spring, and autumn holidays as well as cross-age events.
- Networking: You are an important link and maintain exchange with schools, parents, and specialist institutions in the child-specific area.
Your profile
- Education and experience: You have a degree in social work / socio-culture (or a comparable qualification) and already bring experience in open work with children.
- Pedagogical skills: Your actions are goal- and resource-oriented and characterised by an appreciative attitude. In conflict situations, you remain calm, mediating, and can assert yourself if necessary.
- Personality: You love working independently as much as team spirit. Organisational skills, flexibility, and a healthy dose of humour complete your profile.
- Flexibility and administration: The fixed presence days (Wednesday to Friday) as well as occasional weekend assignments fit perfectly into your life. You are IT-savvy for administrative tasks.
Our offer
We offer you a workplace with genuine scope for creativity. You can expect an upbeat, motivated team with us. We offer you a versatile, innovative activity in a developing environment as well as the attractive employment conditions of the Stäfa municipal administration.
