For a renowned client from the pharmaceutical and medical technology sector, we are looking for an experienced individual as a Polymechanic / Prototype Builder CNC (m/f/d) at the Rotkreuz location starting 1 November 2026. The position is initially limited to 12 months, with a good prospect of extension based on performance. Your tasks:- Independent setup, operation and programming of CNC machining centres (3–5 axes)
- Creation of NC programmes using CAM systems
- Manufacture of precision parts for prototypes, functional models and test assemblies
- Production according to technical drawings, sketches or direct consultation with development
- Modification of existing components as well as manufacture of special tools, clamping devices and gauges
- Consultation with development and engineering teams regarding manufacturing possibilities
- Support in Design for Manufacturing / Design to Cost
- Conducting quality checks of manufactured components
- Assistance with maintenance and upkeep of the machine park
- Completed vocational training as a Polymechanic EFZ or a comparable technical training in machining
- At least 3–5 years of professional experience in independent setup, operation and programming of CNC machines
- Solid experience with CAM systems
- Experience with 3- to 5-axis CNC machining centres
- Very good handling of modern PC and software environments
- Fluent German language skills
- Independent, precise and quality-conscious working style
- Good comprehension and enjoyment of collaboration with development and engineering
- Experience with 3D printing / additive manufacturing is an advantage
- Knowledge of drawing standard ISO 8015 is an advantage
