Specialist Manager Large Tank Storage (80-100%)

Your main tasks

• Inspection of large tank systems to ensure compliance with legal requirements in the areas of water protection, air pollution control, and major accident prevention
• Support and advice to operators of large tank storage facilities
• Regular reporting to the industry representation and cantonal authorities
• Active participation in expert committees consisting of authority representatives, tank storage operators, and industry associations

Your profile

• Degree with relevant professional experience (> 5 years) Bachelor of Science in Environmental Engineering, Energy and Environmental Technology, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent qualification
• Training/continuing education as a Safety Engineer
• German and French spoken and written
• Basic knowledge of environmental protection legislation
• Communicative and sociable person with confident demeanour and assertiveness
• Independent and efficient working style
• Friendly and well-groomed appearance, enjoyment in contact with people
