The Psychiatric University Hospital Zurich (PUK) is one of the leading psychiatric clinics in Switzerland. The Infrastructure and Technical Services department is responsible for construction projects, maintenance and upkeep of operational technical systems and buildings, as well as the gardening department with outdoor facilities.
The Property Management / Technical Services unit ensures safe operation 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Based on a holistic maintenance strategy, we ensure secure building maintenance and upkeep of building infrastructure. A helpline provides round-the-clock support with an on-call service.

Your Responsibilities
- Establishing, leading and further developing the Property Management / Technical Services department (approximately 40 employees in total) including professional and personnel management of directly subordinate staff
- Defining, introducing and monitoring standards, directives and requirements in the Property Management / Technical Services area
- Leading condition analyses and ongoing analysis of operational key figures, deriving and initiating optimisation measures
- Ensuring optimal operation of systems and infrastructure and initiating corrective measures in case of technical faults
- Ensuring implementation of safety regulations and operation of security systems
- Ensuring the needs-based availability of supplies (energy and media) and thus guaranteeing smooth 24/7 operation of PUK infrastructures at all locations
Your Profile
- Higher education as an engineer FH, certified technician HF in building services engineering or higher professional examination HFP with several years of leadership experience
- Solid knowledge and practical experience in project management
- Independent and responsible personality with self-confidence and decisiveness
- High communication and cooperation skills and negotiation ability
- Strong networked, strategic, analytical and conceptual thinking skills
- Leadership skills and great social competence
