The "Analytics Real Estate" division is a project-oriented development and analysis unit within the Risk business unit of Zürcher Kantonalbank. In this division, the hedonic models for the bank's residential property valuation are developed. The department also represents and positions the bank internally and externally on the topic of the real estate market. It consists of eight employees and is made up of the two teams "Real Estate Models" and "GIS Analyses".

Your tasks

Maintenance and further development of hedonic valuation models for residential property and real estate indices for risk assessment of the mortgage portfolio
Support in preparing the assessment of the real estate market using data analyses and forecasting models
Writing contributions for publications on the Swiss real estate market
Collaboration with the bank's risk management and sales units

Your profile

University degree (at least Master level) in economics, mathematics, or comparable
Applied knowledge in data analysis in e.g. R, Python, or SAS
Quantitative skills and a solid understanding of economic contexts
Interest in the Swiss real estate market, knowledge is an advantage
Very good German language skills
Flair for journalistic work
Show initiative and work independently and precisely
Enjoy working on new topics in a team
Ability to communicate complex topics simply and convincingly
