About the job

• Responsible for and ensuring the basic medical care of asylum seekers in the centre, taking into account existing guidelines (BEKO, SEM manual - access to medical care for AS and procedures in BAZ, guide to handling remedies, BAG manual outbreak management and ORS processes)
• Conducting and organising an effective triage according to urgency and severity, and subsequent coordination with medical organisations (emergency, rescue organisations, doctors, dentists)
• Providing initial medical care in emergencies, nursing measures and medically prescribed measures
• Organising, advising, and partially personally conducting regular training for non-medical caregivers/centre management in the area of basic medical care/procedures in emergencies and prevention
• Ensuring contacts and information flow to doctors, counselling centres and other professionals
• Ensuring the daily consultation hours
• Responsible for the care and management of medical records

• Qualified nurse HF / FH
• 0 to 1 year relevant professional experience
• Teamwork skills, high social competence and sense of responsibility
• Calmness in dealing with difficult situations and openness to different cultures
• Organisational talent and planning skills
• Basic and user knowledge of MS Office applications
• Impeccable character (no entries in debt enforcement and criminal records)
• German | spoken: C1 | written: C1
• French | spoken: B1 | written: B1 (advantageous)
