Flying Teachers has been training English teachers since 2001 and language course instructors for German, French, Italian, and Spanish since 2006.

In addition to theoretical training (SVEB Certificate Course Instructor), we regularly offer internships in our training centers in Bern and Zurich.

Who is the internship for?

• Prospective teachers without prior experience and theoretical training
• Trained teachers without experience
• Experienced teachers who want to complete practice-oriented further training
• Teachers who want an introduction to e-learning
• Translators and interpreters who want to broaden their professional scope and expand their offerings

Our offer:

• You lead a four- to six-week language course using provided lesson plans

with adults (in-person, hybrid, or online course).

• You get to know the variety of tasks of a language teacher.
• You deepen, expand, and consolidate important action competencies for language teachers.
• You take on leadership responsibility and work in a consciously designed and

adult-appropriate relationship with the learners.

• You learn to design lessons considering subject-didactic requirements.
• You teach daily (or 2 to 3 times per week) either from 8:30-11:00, 11:15-13:45, 14:00-16:30, or 17:30-20:30, or on Saturday mornings. The courses take place monthly.

We offer the following support:

• We advise you in managing the tasks and are always available for questions and support.
• You can observe experienced teachers and gather impressions and ideas.
• We provide a course program, detailed lesson plans, teaching materials, didactic materials, and personal know-how.
• As preparation for taking over your course, you participate in an introduction and complete an e-learning course with access to training videos and tutorials.
• After observations, you receive feedback on your teaching from both the learners and the educational support.
