The EOC, the multisite hospital of Ticino, is present with its institutes throughout the entire cantonal territory for a total of 1,000 beds.

Thanks to the commitment and competence of over 6,500 collaborators and their attention to human relationships, the EOC ensures quality healthcare by caring for over 41,000 inpatients annually and providing over 600,000 outpatient consultations.
The EOC Anesthesia services take care of over 20,000 patients annually in the operating room, as well as providing assistance for various interventional and diagnostic procedures outside the operating room.

Training position as an assistant doctor at 100%
at the EOC Anesthesia Training Center - locations Regional Hospital of Lugano and Regional Hospital of Bellinzona and Valleys
Profile:
The Anesthesia services of the Regional Hospital of Lugano (ORL) and the Regional Hospital of Bellinzona and Valleys (ORBV) are the site of the common EOC training center in Anesthesiology.
By rotating between the two services in an organized manner, Assistant Doctors in Anesthesia have the opportunity to train and gain experience in all domains of Anesthesiology (except for Cardioanesthesia alone) and Pain Therapy.
The Training Center also allows training in Extra-hospital Emergency Medicine, with the achievement of the related SGNOR certified diploma, attainable during the employment period.
The training curriculum, individualized according to the needs of the Assistant Doctor, is defined at the beginning of the path, with the signing of the individual training contract. This provides for an initial consecutive period carried out at one of the two locations, aimed at creating and consolidating a technical and theoretical base of knowledge, followed by periods of structured rotation between the two locations, aimed at acquiring knowledge and subspecialty experience.
The profile we are looking for is that of a highly motivated, collaborative, professional, serious, reliable, respectful, precise, flexible colleague, willing to carry out part of their training path within the Training Center at a different location from the starting one, willing to provide service also in a medical car, within the planned coverage of the Cardiomobile Service. Believes, as we do, in the importance of putting the patient and their family at the center of all our attention.

Essential requirements:
- degree/diploma in medicine or equivalent title and related registration with MedReg; for doctors with foreign titles, recognition by the Federal Commission for Medical Professions MEBEKO and related registration with MedReg before starting activity is mandatory;
- proven knowledge of the Italian language (required level at least B2) with related registration with MedReg before starting activity;
- 1 year of internal medicine experience in a recognized center.
Hiring procedure
