Personnel Officer 50%The Primary School Office is committed, together with partners in schools and municipalities, to providing a high-quality primary school in the Canton of Zurich. We see ourselves as a service and competence centre for schools, school administrations, and school boards.
Are you looking for a varied role that challenges you both professionally and personally? To strengthen our team, we are seeking, with immediate effect or by arrangement, a Personnel Officer for the Advisory Sector in the School Management Department. Here, you can expect more than routine.
Your area of responsibility
- You advise teachers and school principals on longer periods of incapacity for work in administrative, personnel, and social insurance law matters.
- You coordinate necessary measures, maintain files, and ensure correct and timely case processing.
- As the first point of contact, you respond to telephone and written enquiries from teachers, school principals, school authorities, and administrations.
- You are the hub of the administration and take on classic secretarial tasks such as telephone service, mail handling, and correspondence.
Your profile
You will master this demanding role with a high degree of independence, interconnected thinking, organisational skills, and empathy. You are confident in administrative personnel matters and interested in personnel and social insurance law issues. With great sensitivity, you support our ill employees. You have a commercial education and several years of professional experience in human resources, ideally complemented by further training in social insurance. We seek a friendly, reliable, resilient, and humorous personality who lives our team spirit. You enjoy service-oriented communication in fluent German (spoken and written) with internal and external parties and are proficient in using various IT applications.
