About the job
Friday afternoon is the weekend.
Your work model: 100% in 4½ days
You work from Monday to Friday afternoon. After that, your weekend begins.
You are a Metalworker EFZ and want varied metalworking tasks, modern manufacturing and extraordinary projects? With us, you don’t build the same thing every day: from stairs and railings to doors, gates and glazing to steel constructions and individual special solutions.
Our construction sites have taken us, among others, to Blausee, the Trifthütte, the Jungfrau region and the Eiger Glacier. For some assignments, you even get to the construction site by helicopter. At the same time, weeks-long assembly assignments with hotel stays are not part of our normal work routine: usually, you are home again in the evening.
Your tasks
- Manufacturing and assembling individual metal constructions
- Stairs, railings, doors, gates, canopies, glazing and steel constructions
- Workshop and assembly work with steel, stainless steel and aluminium
- Independent work according to plans and technical documents
- Welding, adjustment and assembly work for custom-made and special solutions
Your profile
- Mandatory: completed Swiss EFZ as a metalworker
- Independent, clean and reliable working style
- High quality awareness and joy in craftsmanship
- Team spirit and willingness for workshop and assembly work
- Driving licence category B
- Welding certificates are an advantage
Important: For this position, we can only consider applicants with a Swiss EFZ as a metalworker. EBA, semi-skilled or other professional qualifications do not meet the requirements for this position.
What to expect with us
- 100% in 4½ days – your weekend starts Friday afternoon
- Usually home every evening – week-long assemblies with hotel stays are the exception
- Extraordinary projects in the Bernese Oberland and partly in the high mountains
- Modern workshop and contemporary manufacturing processes
- Varied custom-made work instead of serial production
- Support for training and further education
- Small team, short decision-making paths and direct collaboration
Start date
From early December 2026, early January 2027 or by arrangement
