These tasks will inspire you

Operational management of daily business

• Together with another team leader, you are responsible for the daily business of the Nebikon operations centre.
• Control of daily transport, deployment and route planning including personnel and vehicle dispatch
• Ensuring optimal utilisation and timely deliveries
• Responsibility for decisions and escalation management in daily business leadership
• Technical management of dispatch
• Personnel and disciplinary responsibility for dispatchers and drivers
• Targeted coaching as well as promotion and further development of employees Processes & structures
• Continuous optimisation of processes, structures and interfaces in cooperation with other departments
• Standardisation of workflows and introduction of new working methods
• Responsibility for resource planning and its ongoing development
• Control of working hours and ARV specifications as well as responsibility for absence management
• Ongoing review of operational target achievement and consistent implementation of decided measures

• Support of customers and partners with high quality and service standards
• Joint further development of services with customers
• Ensuring high delivery quality, punctuality and productivity
• Ensuring all quality, safety and compliance requirements in the transport sector

• Daily coordination with transhipment and personnel planning
• Ensuring the flow of information within dispatch
• Active participation in meetings
• Ongoing exchange with operations management and other operations centres

We look forward to this profile

Professional qualifications

• Several years of professional experience in dispatch as well as in a management role in the transport, forwarding or logistics environment
• Further training in the transport and logistics sector, for example as a federally certified operations manager transport and logistics or a comparable qualification
• Strong leadership skills and experience in managing teams
• Sound knowledge in dispatch, transport control as well as capacity and resource management
• Experience in restructuring transport companies is an advantage
• Willingness to question and further develop existing structures
• Good network in the transport sector
• Good PC user skills, especially in Microsoft Office, as well as experience with dispatch systems
• French language skills are an advantage

• Decisiveness, resilience and assertiveness
• High social competence as well as clear and binding communication
• Organisational talent as well as entrepreneurial, networked and solution-oriented thinking
• Strong customer orientation and negotiation skills
• Ability to prioritise and keep an overview even in hectic situations
