About the job
The Schaffhausen Hospitals include the Cantonal Hospital, the Psychiatric Services, the Radiology and Cardiology Posthof Neuhausen practices, as well as the Neurology Practice Schaffhausen Centre. With over 1,700 employees, we ensure the extended medical and nursing basic care of the Schaffhausen region. Annually, we care for approximately 11,000 inpatients and 90,000 outpatients. Additionally, we are an important training centre in the canton.
For our Gastroenterology department, we are looking for a certified nurse HF/FH to start immediately or by arrangement.
Our department performs around 2,000 endoscopic examinations annually. These include all common diagnostic and interventional procedures of gastroscopy, colonoscopy, ERCP, endosonography, and bronchoscopy/EBUS, as well as abdominal sonography including punctures.

What Awaits You
- Preparation and aftercare of patients for endoscopic examinations
- Assistance during endoscopic procedures and sample collection
- Cleaning and disinfection of endoscopic devices and instruments
- Documentation and billing of procedures
- Day shifts from Monday to Friday, on-call duties at weekends
What You Bring to Us
- A completed training as a certified nurse
- Flexibility, teamwork skills, and IT knowledge
- Specialist training in endoscopy or several years of professional experience in this field is desirable but not mandatory
