The Kartause Ittingen is one of the leading seminar and cultural centers in Switzerland and offers a highly versatile and exciting environment with hotel, seminar and banquet operations, restaurants, agriculture, viticulture, cheese dairy, nursery, fish farming, butcher shop as well as an offer for assisted work and living. It also houses the Thurgau Art Museum and the Ittinger Museum.
Our versatile estate operates 65 ha of agricultural land. With the milk from around 60 dairy cows, we produce numerous cheese specialties. In addition to fodder cultivation, we grow wheat, corn and other arable crops for self-sufficiency. From 2 ha of fruit, we produce apple rings, cider and numerous fine brandies. Our famous Ittinger beers are made from hops and various wine specialties come from 9 ha of vines.
