About the job
For our Geriatric Psychiatric Outpatient Clinic, including the Memory Clinic, at the locations Aarau and Windisch, we are looking for you as of January 1, 2026, or by arrangement
Tasks
- You will take case responsibility under senior physician supervision for outpatient geriatric psychiatric assessments and treatments in the outpatient clinic or the Memory Clinic Aarau or Windisch
- Conducting consultative and liaison psychiatric assessments and treatments in the nursing and care homes of the canton of Aargau
- Participation in team meetings and diagnostic conferences
- Documentation and report writing
- Involvement and specialist advice for relatives
- Close cooperation with resident doctors, nursing and care homes, as well as partner organizations
- Participation in the PDAG duty system
Profile
- You are in specialist training for psychiatry and psychotherapy
- Interest in the field of geriatric psychiatry, especially in the diagnosis and therapy of dementia diseases
- Clinical professional experience in geriatric psychiatry or in consultative and liaison services is an advantage
- Enjoy working in a multiprofessional and interdisciplinary team
- Very good German language skills, spoken and written
