Clerk 50 - 60%
The municipal office with its approximately 75 employees is the organizational and financial interface of the canton to the municipalities. The naturalization department mainly deals with the ordinary and facilitated naturalization of foreigners.
Digitization in the canton of Zurich is in full swing. The already digitized naturalization process is continuously being developed and improved. Do you want to support us in this exciting time?
Then we should get to know each other, because we are looking for a colleague as a clerk 50 - 60% immediately or by arrangement.
Your mission
You will independently process applications for ordinary naturalization with us. You maintain telephone and written contacts with applicants and offices of the federal government, canton, and municipalities. You participate in the further development of the digital naturalization process and other projects of the department.
Your experience
Clerical work is your passion! You appreciate clear process flows and enjoy working on repetitive but demanding tasks diligently. At the same time, you remain calm in an environment that is constantly changing. Integrity and discretion are a matter of course for you. You work independently and are also a team player. You appreciate the diversity of people and are service-oriented as well as communicative. You can draw on completed training in the commercial field and ideally bring professional experience in public administration.
What we offer
Reliability, fairness, humanity, and openness characterize the canton of Zurich as an employer. With us, you can expect a socially and politically relevant, meaningful task and a team with short (communication) paths. We cultivate a culture of open doors and collegiality beyond departmental boundaries in the municipal office. We work together on an equal footing - regardless of personal characteristics. Look forward to these benefits as well: flexible working time models; compensation for flexitime and overtime credits; support for professional development; participation in further training; flexible and generous pension plans.
The workplace is located at Escher-Wyss-Platz in Zurich.
