For over 50 years, our international guests have been indulging in exotic drinks and Eurasian culinary delights at our world-famous Polynesian specialty restaurant Trader Vic's. To offer our guests the highest quality, we are looking to strengthen our bar team as soon as possible.
As part of your duties, you will perform the following tasks:- Checking the bar for cleanliness (compliance with hygiene regulations), order, and standard presentation
- Control and documentation of quality throughout the production area while adhering to economic guidelines
- Planning, preparation, and execution of daily business
- Ensuring a smooth, professional service process for all employees, including correct preparation of drinks according to specified recipes and garnishes
- Receiving, handling, and forwarding complaints
- Responsibility for proper invoicing and correct billing
- Inventory control and conducting regular stocktaking
- Successfully completed vocational training as a restaurant specialist or comparable qualification; training as a state-certified bartender is desirable
- Solid professional and leadership experience in upscale hospitality or gastronomy; training as a state-certified bartender is desirable
- Comprehensive knowledge in the field of spirits and cocktails
- Positive charisma, professional appearance, and enthusiasm
- Creativity and extraordinary inventiveness
- Very good German and English skills; additional foreign languages are an advantage
