Practical module for students of Social Work (full-time and part-time)
Your tasks
- You advise and support young people and young adults individually and holistically on their path to initial vocational training
- You help them develop suitable perspectives and sustainably enter the world of work
- You coordinate various specialist agencies on a case-by-case basis and work interdisciplinarily – for example with agencies from the social sector, the education system or the health sector
- You gain insight into the working methods of case management and assist in organising needs-based solutions
- You take on administrative tasks such as case documentation and minute-taking
What you bring with you
- You are studying Social Work at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland (FHNW) in full-time or part-time study and are looking for an internship place for your second practical module.
- You are interested in the topics of youth, vocational integration and the transition from school to work.
- You are an open and committed personality and enjoy approaching young people.
- You work independently, reliably and well organised.
- You enjoy communicating and have a high level of social competence.
- You can express yourself clearly and confidently both orally and in writing.

We are the cantonal specialist office for vocational integration for young people aged 15 to 25. We act as a hub and service provider for young people, parents, specialist agencies and teachers who have questions on this topic. Within the framework of the cantonal overall strategy, we make an important contribution to the prevention and reduction of youth unemployment.
Our services are free and voluntary.
