About the job
Zurich Cantonal Bank is the second largest universal bank and the largest cantonal bank in Switzerland. With a strong regional presence in the Zurich economic area, it has stood for stability, trust, and sustainable action for over 150 years. It combines economic stability and long-term orientation with the consistent development of its offerings. The goal: to provide a convincing customer experience both personally and digitally.
This is exactly where the Client Channels division comes in. The focus is on central digital and physical touchpoints between ZKB and its customers, connecting needs with technology, processes, user experience, security, and operations. These include, among others, eBanking, Mobile Banking, as well as digital account opening, onboarding, and lifecycle processes.
Within Client Channels, the ID Management & API Banking team is responsible for secure access to ZKB's digital banking services. The focus is on Customer Identity & Access Management (CIAM), i.e., the management of digital customer identities and their access rights, as well as the Open Banking platform. The specialist team and DevOps work closely together and accompany their solutions from conception to stable operation.
We are looking for you as an experienced individual at the interface between business and IT for the specialist team.
Your challenge
- Active co-design of the Open Banking platform and solutions for digital customer identities and their authentication
- Gathering, analysing, and modelling business and technical requirements and translating them into actionable features, user stories, specifications, and test cases
- Technical leadership of work packages, subprojects, and parallel initiatives from conception to go-live
- Close collaboration with development and support during testing, rollouts, and introduction of new solutions
- Ensuring stable operations and compliance with regulatory and security requirements
- Regularly taking on operational responsibility including analysis and coordination of business and technical incidents in second- and third-level support
- Advising internal and external partners on requirements, feasibility, dependencies, and necessary decisions
Your qualities and talents
- Completed studies (university, university of applied sciences) in computer science, business informatics, economics, or similar
- At least five years of professional experience in technically oriented business engineering/business analysis, technical project management, or technical application management
- At least three years of experience in Customer Identity & Access Management or in platform-related Open Banking or Open Finance environments
- Ability to specify requirements so that development teams can implement concrete solutions
- Experience in process and data analysis as well as in requirements elicitation and modelling, e.g., with UML, BPMN, or mock-ups
- Good understanding of backend systems, APIs, authentication, and security; knowledge of OAuth, OpenID Connect, or consent management is an advantage
- Experience in coordinating technical projects and working in agile models such as Scrum or SAFe
- Analytical, independent, and team-oriented personality with strong drive, clear communication, and enjoyment in dealing with diverse stakeholders
- German skills at least at C1 level as well as good English skills
As a Senior Technical Business Analyst, you shape business-critical platforms that enable secure access to ZKB's digital offerings. You combine technical understanding with conceptual strength and accompany your topics through to productive operation. Are you attracted by a role with a lot of personal responsibility and direct influence on digital customer interfaces?
