Finance & Accounting Specialist (m/f/d)

Role:
You will take on a versatile role in the finance and accounting department of a successful company in the energy infrastructure sector. You will ensure smooth processes in accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger accounting and actively participate in financial statements and other finance-related topics. At the same time, you will have the opportunity to question processes, drive digital solutions forward, and sustainably develop the finance area with your ideas.
Responsibilities:
You are responsible for the accounts receivable and accounts payable accounting including payment transactions, dunning, and monitoring of open items
You participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
You manage the subsidiary ledgers and asset accounting and ensure reconciliation with the general ledger
You take on tasks in the general ledger, perform account reconciliations, and independently resolve discrepancies
You prepare the VAT returns and ensure correct processing
You support liquidity planning, controlling, and finance-related reporting
You collaborate on projects related to finance, ERP, digitalisation, and process optimisation
Qualifications:
You have a qualification or further training in finance and accounting or a comparable qualification
You bring solid professional experience in finance and accounting, ideally in a manufacturing company
You have experience in accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger accounting as well as in financial statement tasks
You are confident in using ERP systems and Excel and have a high IT affinity
You have good German language skills
