The Integrated Psychiatry Winterthur – Zürcher Unterland (ipw) advises and supports people in crisis situations and with mental illnesses. As a psychiatric and psychotherapeutic centre of expertise for the Winterthur and Zürcher Unterland regions, ipw cares for

Furthermore, ipw is a recognised educational institution for doctors, nursing professionals, and other health and therapy professions. It offers training places for various basic training programmes and serves as a teaching hospital for the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Zurich.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITY

In close collaboration with the Executive Board and the Hospital Council, you shape the corporate and business strategy of ipw, taking into account current health policy developments and regulatory requirements. You are responsible for the creation and implementation of strategies and concepts as well as adherence to the budget, and you promote a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Your strategic and entrepreneurial actions contribute significantly to the sustainable medical and economic success of the organisation as well as to positioning ipw as an attractive employer. As an initiator, you actively drive topics such as innovation, cooperation, digitalisation, and sustainable development together with your management team. You act as a reliable, committed, and partnership-oriented contact person towards internal and external stakeholders.

YOUR PROFILE

You hold a university degree in business administration and have several years of leadership experience at the highest management level in healthcare, ideally in psychiatry or the somatic hospital sector. You are well acquainted with the political, social, and economic framework conditions of the healthcare system. You have actively shaped corporate developments and are motivated to sustainably influence strategic and operational processes. You find an environment with scope for design stimulating and use it with foresight and implementation strength. Your pronounced strategic, operational, and communication skills enable you to recognise change as an opportunity and to drive it forward with positive energy. Even in complex or challenging situations, you act with negotiation skills, confidence, and the necessary tact. With your cooperative, goal-oriented leadership style, your strong social skills, and your assertiveness – even in economically demanding times – you build trust and closeness with interprofessional teams within the organisation as well as with external stakeholders.
